Today’s fun – Chemical Brothers are next to Chet Baker in my digital music library.
I got into jazz in a big way when I moved up north. It was a nice distraction in a time of change. Finding and learning all of this music history, especially in an age where in Europe they re-release old vinyl records because it’s been over fifty years, c’mon now. Hell, more like 75 for some things.
Copyright law in this country is a such a racket – just like the mafia. Artists get peanuts, anyone wanting to use music who isn’t a big streaming company or other music service provider can get stuffed.
It’s below 30 degrees. I’m savoring it while it’s still here. Dreading what summer brings. But my tiny plants are dreaming of becoming mighty veggies soon.
Keep swimming. Tread water if you have to. Keep moving.
Keep living.
Keep loving.
Keep making music. However you do.
Find the color and the beauty wherever you can.
